Surgery
Compassionate Surgical Care You Can Trust
Hearing that your pet needs surgery can feel overwhelming. We understand how difficult it is to place a beloved family member in someone else’s hands.
Whether your pet needs a routine procedure or surgery to treat an illness or injury, our team is committed to making the experience as safe, comfortable, and stress-free as possible.
From the moment you arrive until your pet is back home recovering, you’ll be supported by the familiar faces you’ve come to know and trust.

Before Surgery
Your pet’s safety is always our top priority. Your pet will have their surgery and head home on the same day. No overnight stays and sleepless nights for you, just the confidence of knowing they’ll recover in the comfort of home, surrounded by the people they love most.
Before surgery, we perform pre-anesthetic blood work. This screening helps us evaluate organ function (like the liver and kidneys), check for hidden illness, and ensure your pet is healthy enough to undergo anesthesia safely.
During Surgery
Pain Management Every Step of the Way
Your pet’s comfort is just as important as their safety. We use a multi-modal approach to pain management before, during, and after surgery to help keep your pet comfortable throughout their procedure and recovery.
During surgery, your pet will be surrounded by a team of familiar faces who monitor them throughout the entire procedure, including:
Heart rate
Blood pressure
Oxygen levels
Body temperature
Breathing
Pain management

After Surgery
Recovery begins long before your pet heads home.
Your pet will be closely monitored after surgery as they wake up from anesthesia and encounter the familiar faces of our team. During those first moments of recovery, we’ll continue to monitor their comfort and pain management while ensuring they’re alert and recovering well before they head home.
Now that your pet is heading home, you’ll leave with clear instructions and support for every step of their recovery. We’ll review everything you need to know, including:
- Pain medications and home care instructions
- Feeding and activity recommendations
- Follow-up appointments
- Signs to watch for during recovery
And if questions come up once you’re home, we’re only a phone call away.
