What to Do in an Emergency

If you believe your pet may be experiencing an emergency, please call us right away at 252-753-2611. We will talk through what’s happening and help you decide the safest next step.

Depending on the situation, we may recommend bringing your pet directly to Willow Grove for immediate care, or we may guide you to one of the nearby 24-hour emergency hospitals better equipped for advanced treatment.

Because our clinic is doctor-led and not a large emergency facility, there are times when a pet’s condition is best handled at a 24/7 hospital, especially if our veterinarians are already in surgery or unavailable at that moment. A quick phone call ensures your pet gets to the right place without losing precious time.
