More About Tammy
Tammy has been an integral part of the Willow Grove Animal Clinic family since November 2002. As a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager (CVPM), she has spent more than two decades helping shape the welcoming, relationship-centered experience that clients have come to know and trust.
Her journey in animal care began long before joining Willow Grove, growing up around farm animals and earning an associate degree in Animal Science with a focus on poultry and livestock technology. After working with Goldsboro Milling Company in farrowing operations, she transitioned into veterinary medicine, where she worked her way from kennel assistant to veterinary assistant, receptionist, and ultimately practice manager.
For Tammy, veterinary medicine has always been about treating pets and their families like they are part of her own. She loves building lasting relationships with clients, watching puppies and kittens grow into senior companions, and creating an environment where pets are genuinely excited to come through the front door. One of the most rewarding parts of her role is earning the trust of families and helping ensure every visit feels less like a trip to the veterinarian and more like visiting familiar faces who truly care.
Tammy is especially proud of earning her Certified Veterinary Practice Manager designation after completing the rigorous self-study program and passing the national certification exam. She hopes every client and pet feels welcomed, valued, and treated like family from the moment they arrive.
Outside of the clinic, Tammy enjoys spending time with her husband, two grown children, granddaughter, and her five beloved dogs, including three Australian Shepherds and two Chihuahuas. When she’s not at Willow Grove, you’ll often find her hunting, fishing, camping, traveling with her family and pets, or putting her baking talents to work creating special cakes for family and friends.
